Meet Donatella

Donatella grew up like Italian royalty, the granddaughter of Federico Fellini wanted for nothing. She moved to the Big Apple when she was eighteen in hopes of working with her hero Woody Allen. Now she spends half the year in Singapore where she lives with her on-again off-again architect boyfriend at the Fullerton Bay Hotel penthouse suite, because, quite honestly ~ you can't beat the view. Plus Singapore airlines still serves in crystal and Donatella appreciates those types of little details. She tells people she watches what she eats, she just doesn't tell them it's usually steak frites! She hasn't exactly given up on her dreams of starring in a Woody Allen film, however at the moment she is quite content to be in front and behind the lens of her own camera creating moving pictures & writing her story!

Eating in Asia

One of the best parts of this trip was sampling the diversity of flavors as we traveled from country to country! Starting in Singapore we sought out their famous "hawker" centers for local favorites (Chicken Rice), got our hands dirty eating Singapore Crab and had some amazing Biryani in Little India! Once we were aboard the cruise ship ~ the food took on a whole other dimension ~ there was so much of it, it was fantastic and we basically scheduled our days around our meals! Then in Bali we sampled some of the local delicacies along with hitting a fabulous French restaurant on New Years Eve. In Vietnam we sipped ice coffee's and my fiance learned how to make authentic Vietnamese spring rolls at a local cooking class! Hopefully he'll be making them at home soon. Here's a taste of the Orient!
