Tiger Lily

Her friends call her Tigger, the few she has. You see, Tiger Lily is really a loner. Her best friend is her albino snake that she calls Mercury. During the day she paints in her live-in studio flat, two blocks from the boardwalk in Venice Beach. Her work is mostly abstract. She loves using her fingers to splatter paint on the canvas because she likes the unpredictable outcome. At night she works as a dancer ~ something she started at right out of high school, and like waitressing, once you've done it for a while, sometimes one gets the idea in their head they can't do anything else. Her dream is to show her work one day, but not quite yet.

Brush strokes

Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is a painting that is felt rather than seen ~ Leonardo da Vinci
I was inspired to break out my paints and put some color and forms on a big canvas yesterday. My plan is to create my own backdrops for some new photography ideas I have! stay tuned ;}
