For me, the idea of heaven and hell has continuously evolved over the years.
When I was a little girl in sunday-school, I imagined them as the places that were described in the bible. When I went to college and began to study other religions and theories about the after-life, my ideas of what heaven and hell might be like changed and expanded again. Now I am at the point where I believe heaven and hell are not places at all, rather states of being, metaphors to describe feelings.
