the purple rose of venice
Had a friend visiting from Canada this week, and she wanted to visit Venice Beach for an afternoon of people watching and street shopping ~ I picked up a long purple feather earring and got home to realize I had the perfect dress to match it!

Bucket List
Its always fun to think about things you would really like to do "this-time-around", and one of the items on my bucket list is to stay at an over-the-top ice hotel and see the aurora borealis light up the Northern skies, garbed head to toe in fur, while sipping some Russian vodka to keep my toes toasty! Sun bathing . . a thing of the past
I confess, I was a sun worshiper. Especially growing up on the East coast ~ we'd see it so rarely, when summer finally came around I could not get enough. But after seeing the effects of years in the glorious soleil, I have decided that hats and umbrella's are a new summer accessory that I can not do without these days!

Motivation!
A couple years ago I did this photo shoot with a client of mine Tom Kwon, for whom I had recently re-designed his backyard and pool area. With summer just around the corner, these pictures are a great motivator to get out of my desk chair and outside walking and hiking! Because I was doing an awful lot of that before these photopraphs were snapped!! In fact NOW would be a good time to start!!
