Be a Froot Loop!
I love eccentric people with big personalities and crazy unique style! Ever since I was a kid, the individuals that stood out to me were the likes of Elton John, Cher and Dr. Seuss! People that dared to be really different and lead the way for the rest of us Fruit Loops in a world of Cheerios! Just remember to "follow your nose!"

Target Practice
I just can not say enough about the totally original and exciting trilogy called
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I literally devoured the three books and now eagerly await the film version to see how they portray this wondrous new world of Panem! The lead heroine Katniss {below} is one cool character and her adventures are quite memorable. Ready, aim, fire ~ Let the games begin!

Dimming of the day
At the end of the day ~ it's good to make a mental note, was this a good day, a bad day, a hard day? I like to try to keep track ~ you know, to make sure I am having more good ones than bad ones. And the key here is to be brutally honest with yourself! Because ~ let's face it, if the scales get tipped, it's time to make a change.

Beating the Blues
Somedays I forget who I am. I just get lost in depression and things seem hopeless. I try to reach out for help, but there seems to be no one there. And I am faced with the sad reality that I am really on my own in this vast universe. But a day or two might pass and things seem better. The haze of gloom is lifted and I am reminded that things will not always be this way, tomorrow is another day.

★ Lucky Star ★
The internet is such an amazing creation ~ linking all of us to this great big world! While a surf'n ~ I came across this Japanese series called Lucky Star with it's eccentric blue haired heroine Konata! I instantly fell for her sassy spirit and mischievous character! So naturally when I spotted this blue wig in downtown LA ~ I had to have it! I look forward to visiting Japan one day ~ but until then, the internet brings it a whole lot closer !
