Vintage Va Voom

This vintage Bob Mackie dress was a serious score at a local consignment store! I have been a fan of his exotic creations ever since I was a little girl watching the Sony and Cher show! So I decided to really "DIVA" it up for this shoot!

February tends to be our chilliest month here in Southern California ~ especially at the beach, however it gives me a chance to wear some of my East Coast styles!



This whole ensemble was built around this boiled wool, dove grey jacket by ~ Fake London, I paired it with a charcoal turtleneck sweater by ~ express, a plaid mini by ~ F21, a vintage leather hat and these killer boots by ~ Frye.

Sometimes I try to find something I'm not looking for . . . .

Whenever I am in the area, I love to stop into this treasure trove of the unexpected in San Juan.
My favorite finds ~ this exquisitely carved old carousel horse and an old Remington typewriter!

This lovely silk embroidered kimono and this fun Chinese butler caught my eye.

These snazzy shoe clips could fit right into my wardrobe and colored glass always calls to me.

A lovely assortment of furs!

These rose glasses with gold trim were a hit @ $80.00 for a set of eight, the lovely crystal candle
sconces and this vintage embellished sweater both say GLAM!

I'm always attracted to old costumes!

This silk wall hanging was gorgeous and I could fit this into almost any interior!!

I wanted all of these!!

Pandora's Parlor (a back corner of the antique mall) proved to be my favorite vendor, The strange, absurd and fabulous! Check it out ~ something for any taste and lots of great deals!

Romance day & night

 I chose ruffles for day and lace for evening to create these two feminine looks!

Jacket & shoes are BCBG Max Azria, Vintage hat, a necklace I made, paired with a lace tee, linen shorts and nude fishnets complete this feminine day look!

A soft pink lace bodysuit I found at forever 21, inspired this outfit, I added thigh high tights, took a knit shawl and pinned it on as a skirt, added a Ralph Lauren Hat and satin mary jane's for my evening look!
