Breaking rules

In order to be original and do something new, it is necessary to break a few rules along the way. But its important to know the rules to the game you are playing. An understanding of the fundamentals and a familiarity with the playing field is the platform from which you can leap in your new direction with purpose!


Remember learning the rules is the easy part ~ breaking them in a way that is innovative, unique and clever is what takes the real work!

Try and fail, but don't fail to try

We are taught from such a young age that failure is abominable, punishable, looked down upon. . . when in all actuality it is a very necessary part of success. Nobody succeeds without many trials and errors or Failures! Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something. In fact, we should expect to fail and fail again in the pursuit of finally getting it right one of these days!


So get out there and try again and again until you get IT the way you want it, what ever IT is!!

cha cha cha cha Changes . .

Life is all about evolution. We see it all around us in nature and at the same time we ourselves are simultaneously going through the same transitions day by day, although they might appear subtle at first, there comes a time when others see it or we see the changes for ourselves. Changes in relationships can affect us the most, but even those are necessary for our personal growth and evolvement.

I was overwhelmed by the beauty in bloom at the LA Arboretum last week, a SPECKtacular place I'll be going back to visit again soon!

Problems and troubles are sure to find us. That is a given. So it is our job to find joy and happiness. When we are truly happy we can do wonderful things! Get out there and find something to be happy about and come ALIVE and celebrate!!
