Peace on Earth

. . .  and goodwill towards men. It needs to start somewhere, start the thought in your heart and see it spread to everyone you come in contact this holiday season!

A Beverly Hills Holiday!

I spent a glittery day in LA with my lovely friend Ingie to celebrate the holidays. We leisurely window-shopped along Rodeo Drive, popped into the Beverly Wilshire for some champagne and oysters, and then enjoyed a late lunch at the newly renovated {and utterly gorgeous} Hotel Bel Air! T'was a grand affair! xox

Magical Snowflakes

I like to think that snowflakes are perfect individual bits of the cosmos, falling down upon us, to remind us each year that we are part of something much greater!

Spreading Christmas cheer!

One of the ways I really get into the holiday spirit (besides decorating) is to watch my favorite Christmas movies each year! The old classics are always a staple, but a few of the new ones are really worthwhile! My newest favorite is Elf ~ this heart-warming and hilarious instant classic just sends me right to the North Pole & back!

Red & Green? I don't think so!

Now, don't get me wrong ~ I love all the beautiful traditions of the holiday season. It's just that each year ~ Christmas presents (no pun intended) us with a new opportunity to do something unique and Specktacular! Try a silver tree out for size! Have a white Christmas even if there's no snow! The beauty of it is you can do it different each year ~ there is no commitment. So this season, consider surprising your friends and family with your very own unique amazing style! xo

Red Riding Hood ~ and other mixed-up fairytale characters!

Its funny to consider all the psychological hang-ups that childhood fairytale characters might have! Bottom line is ~ they're just like us!

Christmas in New York

I feel so very very lucky to have grown up in a family that LOVED celebrating Christmas. My Mom made the holidays so special and created so many wonderful memories for me over the years. I spent this past week enjoying this magical season with my Mom, creating new memories that will last a lifetime!
Thank you for EVERYTHING Mom ~ I love you so much! & Merry Christmas!
